"Bon chic, bon genre"LA BAGAGERIE.
Designer Jean Marlaix opened the first LA BAGAGERIE boutique in 1954. Paris' celebrated Champs-Elysées played host to this small shop, which, half a century later, would turn out to be one of many stores dotted around France's fashion capital. His unique design work having won the hearts of Paris' fashion set, Marlaix continued to expand his accessories empire by making the move to Lyon in the late 70s.
To the delight of French women everywhere, Marlaix continued to turn out fresh, new and exciting LA BAGAGERIE handbag designs. Frédéric Marlaix, Jean Marlaix's son, took over the business in the 90s.
A fresh face meant a fresh look! Frédéric Marlaix's design work is the result of careful observation of street style, ensuring that your new handbag from LA BAGAGERIE seamlessly slots into your wardrobe, and will become an item that you'll treasure for years to come!
